Current investigations exhibited the effects of extended dryings from the herb around the yields, composition, oil good quality, and hepatoprotective too as anti-cancer biological activities on the hydrodistillation-obtained essential oils from the aerial parts of your plant. The crucial oils’ yields, compositions, and biological activities levels on the fresh and differently timed and room-temperature dried herbs differed drastically. The lowest yields in the vital oil have been obtained from the fresh herbs (FH, 631 mg, 0.16 ), although the highest yield was obtained in the two-week dried herbs (2WDH, 1102 mg, 0.28 ). A notable reduce in monoterpenes, with increment in the sesquiterpene constituents, was observed for the FH-based necessary oil as compared to all the other batches on the important oils obtained in the differenttimed dried herbs. Furthermore, characteristic chemotypic constituents of sage, i.e., -pinene, camphene, -pinene, myrcene, 1, 8-cineole, -thujone, and camphor, had been present in drastically greater proportions in each of the dried herbs’ vital oils as when compared with the FH-based critical oil. The in vivo hepatoprotective activity demonstrated substantial reductions inside the levels of AST, ALT, and ALP, as well as a significant raise in the total protein (p 0.05) contents level, as in comparison with the acetaminophen (AAP) administered experimental group of rats. A important reduction (p 0.05) in the ALT level was demonstrated by the 4W
